The member’s area of Vivid.com is, unfortunately, very cluttered. It looks like they’re trying to pack as much promo material into an 800 pixels-wide space as possible and it ends up creating a much fractured layout. You’ll get used to it though as you scan over it a couple times and realize where all the important sections are. Each page in the member’s area has a navigation menu in the header so you can jump from section to section. You can browse the photos and videos available for each individual Vivid Girl, or you can browse through all 650+ feature length movies. There’s really a lot of content for Vivid.com to show you, but the layout needs to be optimized.

However, given the amount and quality of content that Vivid.com offers, I think we can forgive just about any other faults we may find. There….is….so….much! Nearly 700 exclusive feature length movies, each with accompanying photo sets, along with bonus behind the scenes and blooper footage! These movies have all the earmarks of Vivid creations: high production value, big name starlets, and cheesy movie titles (like “Burnt Fury”). I’m not sure how exactly you burn fury but the movie features Lanny Barbie. With Lanny Barbie in the starring role you could call it “Scorched Anger” or “Toasted Vehemence”; it wouldn’t matter much to me.

Along with Lanny Barbie you’ll find all of the Vivid Girls we’ve come to know and love in our hardcore pornography. Picture sets from older films aren’t as high-quality as those from newer films, but they’re still very good since these aren’t screen captures. Each image is around 532x800 pixels. You could quite possibly spend years looking through all these pictures.

At Vivid.com, the pièce de résistance is, of course, the massive collection of feature length movies. As of this review (5/07), there are 684 movies available to members and it looks like newer and older videos are still being added. These movies can only be streamed. Members have the option of streaming high or low-quality Real Media formats or high or low-quality Windows Media Video formats. Watching the streaming video in full-screen mode does depreciate the quality of the video. Vivid.com would do well to offer higher resolutions for those members who have the bandwidth for it. Regardless, this is such a massive collection that will keep you entertained for a very long time. As a number, “700” doesn’t seem that impressive until you’re actually in the member’s area and realize that you have access to that many feature length movies.

Vivid.com members have access to a few cool extras. They can download Vivid screen savers, desktop backgrounds, and AOL IM buddy icons. They can also plays some cool adult games.

Vivid.com reigns supreme with the gigantic selection of feature length movies. I have serious doubts that you’ll find other websites that can offer this much content with the same production value and the same big name starlets. Prospective members are offered two subscription options, the first is a three-day trial membership for $4.95, and the second is a one-month membership for $29.99. Don’t pass over Vivid.com; you’d be missing too much if you did.
